We'll look at: - Your goals: Are you looking to race your first triathlon, first Ironman 70.3, or your first ironman? Are you experienced and want to qualify for 70.3 Worlds or Kona? Place in your Age Group? or qualify for your Elite license? - Your sporting background; - Any current and/or past injuries to keep in mind; - Your work/life balance so we design training around it; |
We'll review your training progression on a regular basis via phone calls, texts, Google Meets. And if your personal or work life prevents you from training, no problem! I'm here to adjust it as often as it needs to. |
Together with your help I will guide you to: - Train for your goal! - Train hard but train smart at your own unique pace. We're all unique and your training should be about you! - Address any fear or anxiety you may have about training and/or racing and will work to overcome them; - Develop your strengths and address your areas for development in all three disciplines; - Fuel properly during your training; - fuel properly for your races; - Develop a race strategy so that we are fully ready come race day! - Learn and understand your equipment and guide you to the best equipment for you; - Ask questions! I'll never ask you to "trust the process." I want you to understand it! |
Not in San Diego? NO PROBLEM! With today's technology available to us, training you remotely has never been easier. We'll use a training software to keep track of your training. We'll do all the necessary tests remotely, and I am only a phone call, text, or Google Meet call away! And if you're interested, we can find some time during your season to have you come to San Diego and train with me! |
It will take some time for you to adapt to the new coaching method and for me to understand you as a person and athlete. In my experience we start seeing some great improvement within 4 to 5 months! But for some improvements come quicker! |

Additional Perks
Things happen. Life, family, work are more important than triathlon, or you simply may want to experience a different approach with another coach. After your 4-month commitment is complete, I simply ask for a 30 day notice. You will still be coached as usual, but that will allow us to adjust your training accordingly for that period, winding it down, or coordinating and working with your next coach to ensure a seamless transition

- Opportunities for 1-on-1 training and/or catch-ups if you are in San Diego ($65/hour + facility fees)
