​COME TRAIN IN SAN DIEGO IN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT WILL BE CONDUCIVE TO CHALLENGING AND PUSHING YOURSELF DAILY, LEARNING AND GROWING AS AN ATHLETE AND PERSON, AND HAVING A BLAST IN THE PROCESS! ​

  • Come train with me: I am a USA Triathlon Level I certified coach, currently coaching, and I am a professional athlete (Kona Pro qualifier);
  • Athletes will be insured through the USA Triathlon certified Triathlon Club Program; 
  • Escape the cold and come train in beautiful, sunny San Diego 
  • You will be training a lot. You will be pushed. You will have a lot of fun in the process! ​
  • Your time is precious so we'll make sure that you get the best out of the 5 days of training!
  • This is an advanced camp. It will be demanding. The ideal candidate would have already completed a 70.3 or Ironman distance or is actively training towards their first long distance event;
  • Athletes are expected to have been training consistently before coming to the camp (a structured 6-week pre camp training plan will be available for purchase at registration to help you get ready for the camp)
  • At times we will divide the group into smaller groups of similar abilities so that everyone gets the most out of the camp;
  • All our swimming will be done in outdoor pools and in open water settings (weather and ocean conditions permitting);
  • Come ride in mixed terrain, along the Pacific coast on the famous PCH 101, or on the quiet and beautiful rolling roads inland;
  • Run on the beach during our easy/recovery runs, on fantastic trails, and on the Oceanside 70.3 run course!​

During this camp you can expect:
  • To be pushed. Whether you are an avid athlete or frequently on the podium at races we will make sure that everyone gets the most of the camp! 
  • To develop your swimming, biking, and running skills with 
    • Swim technique video analysis, OW-specific skills;
    • Bike handling skills (in group ride settings and pure agility drills);
    • Run warm-up drills, post run drills, running efficiency; 
  • To train in an amazing setting: I am privileged to call San Diego home and I want to show you why this place is AMAZING! ​​​
  • To get an incredible support team around you with our SAG support during our long bike ride on Saturday. Vehicles with a mechanic, repair kits, and nutrition will follow the group, along with additional support on bikes to ensure your safety and a fun day on the bikes!
  • To get paddle board support during our open water swims to ensure your safety in the water (2 open water swims with an additional one that will be optional to participants);
  • To address any fear and anxiety about triathlon. Anything you'd like to work on during this camp? I'm here to help you be more confident and ready for your season! Let me help you! This will be a safe place for you to train and grow as an athlete! 
  • To eat some amazing food! The food scene in San Diego is fantastic!
  • To have fun! I design each day to give athletes a chance to challenge themselves. It'll be up to you to take it! We'll push you but we'll make sure that you have fun. 
​​Note: lodging, food/nutrition, equipment, activities during the rest day, and transportation are not included. Athletes are expected to bring their own equipment during the camp.
A tentative schedule of what athletes could expect during the camp will be shared closer to camp dates. Get yourself ready for an action-packed camp!
​Please be aware that, as this is an outdoor sport we are subject to Mother Nature's mood, and therefore:
​
  • Although the weather is beautiful here in Southern California for most of the year, the schedule will be adjusted based on weather conditions;
  • Open water swims and venues are subject to changes based on ocean conditions. We will work to find venues that are safe for all participants. Your safety is our priority.
  • Specific time starts will be provided to all registered athletes closer to the camp
